Solar System Live Wallpaper

Where are the planets and the largest moons in our solar system currently located? This live wallpaper provides a real-time view of the largest objects in the solar system directly on the lock screen or home screen. It shows the sun and all eight planets and, optionally, the six largest moons. The position on the screen, size and rotation can be configured, as can the display of the orbits. A photo can also be added as a background and the brightness can be adjusted.

The angles of the planets around the sun and of the moons relative to their planet are calculated. The distances and sizes of the objects are not to scale.

Live backgrounds for the lock screen while using a differenent image on the home screen can be set up from Android 15 onwards. The background only updates every 5 minutes or so and is therefore energy-saving. The app does not collect any data and only calculates the objects to be displayed based on the current system time.
